Inspired by the work of historian Howard Zinn, The People Speak will give voice to rebels, dissenters, and visionaries from Ireland’s past and present, aiming to educate and inspire a new generation working for human rights and social justice. This live event brings to life through words and song the dramatic, and remarkably eloquent, history of political struggle and protest in Ireland, from its earliest history to the present day.
