Featuring Eisa Davis and Brandee Younger

Celebrate Women’s History Month with the Voices of a People's History project at this dynamic musical collaboration between musician Brandee Younger and singer/actor Eisa Davis, sampling readings from Howard Zinn's rich history of American dissent and setting them to song. Brandee Younger is a Grammy-nominated instrumentalist whose work as a soloist, bandleader, and session musician alongside artists such as Beyoncé and Lauryn Hill has rapidly established her as one of the world's foremost harpists. Eisa Davis—niece of legendary activist Angela Davis—is a Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright and Obie Award-winning performer whose performances of original music at Joe's Pub and the Apollo serve to further underline her excellence and versatility.
