Several newspapers and blogs covered today's VOICES performance at the Sundance ASCAP Music Cafe, not least because three Oscar® nominees--just announced on the same morning as the performance--were featured in the lineup: Josh Brolin (for "Milk"), Melissa Leo (for "Frozen River") and Marisa Tomei (for "The Wrestler").
This trio joined Sundance founder Robert Redford, Benjamin Bratt, Woody Harrelson, Wyclef Jean, and Q'orianka Kilcher, with Howard Zinn as narrator, to bring alive voices of a people's history of the United States, including Mark Twain, Susan B. Anthony, and Rachel Carson.
